MY ART

I've painted ever since I was about 5 years old. Always loving color, I simply could not keep my hands out of my dad's oil house-paint.  I would pry the lids open with a screw driver and using a stick or twig, would draw the paint from one can to another, painting on the lids.  That was my beginning as a painter, and my first encounter with opposition to my dynamic creativity.  Ah, such is life...

I've just always painted.  In my home town in New York State, I was a number one watercolor painter.  In Georgia I learned acrylic and oils, even traveling to France to paint in Monet's Garden.  My colors have always been bright, cheery, and lively!

I paint local landscapes, florals, and several years ago began what I call my "Biblical paintings."  Not traditional but contemporary, full of life, color, energy and thought provoking images.  Lately I've been painting in downtown Greenville, SC by the Reedy River.

Some of these paintings are in private collections while others remain in my collection and are available as a traveling exhibit.  I've mixed the images to create a kalidescope of color and design.  Take time to ponder the rendering, the beauty, and color as you view these images.
